One Third Of Your Life Should Be Spent Sleeping
By admin | January 27, 2008
About one third of the average persons life is spent sleeping. This means that sleep is very important to our health and us. Healthy sleep is even more important, it is vital to a human’s body and it is going to be essential for the brain to function the way that it is intended. Other organs in the body also depend on the amount of sleep that a person gets to function properly.
Adults will need to get about eight hours of sleep per night. You have to be willing to make the necessary changes that you have to in order to get the sleep that you need and deserve. Along with cutting out the caffeine and eating better, you have to learn to relax and let things go. Try to not worry and dwell on things that you do not have to. Stress is going to reduce the amount of sleep that you get at night.
That being said…
There is no correct amount of sleep that is for everyone. In fact, everyone is different and that will also include his or her sleep patterns. On an average most people will need to have about seven to nine hours of good sleep each night, as a rule of thumb that is ok. However some people will be able to function on much less, while others have to have more than that to get through a day. It will depend on the person and what their body needs for sleep.
